The owner and namesake of the company is Richard Hamann, with over 20 years of motor sports experience. In 1986, HAMANN MOTORSPORT began with BMW cars. The very first modified vehicle, a rebuild of the turbocharged BMW M3 E 30 series made worldwide recognition. The car reached a top speed of 169 mph and completed the sprint from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 5.1 seconds.
HAMANN MOTORSPORT has built up its tuning program and established itself among the world's most prestigious and largest providers of BMW tuning. Since 2002, HAMANN has focused on Mini, Porsche, Range Rover, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Maserati and Aston Martin, and offers its expertise in a wider clientele. At 10,000 square meters, HAMANN designs and manufactures according to strict ISO quality standards.
